Terms & Conditions - the basics

These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) establish a legally binding agreement between the Client and the Designer (ElevateSites), effective as of the date the project begins.

The T&C govern our working relationship, the services provided, responsibilities of both parties, payment structure, legal protections, and other important business details.

What to include in the T&C document

ElevateSites agrees to provide the following services:​

  • Website design and layout

  • Customization of Wix templates and features

  • Mobile responsiveness

  • Basic SEO setup (if applicable)

  • [Other optional services, such as logo design or copywriting, if selected]

All services are performed using the Wix platform. Customizations are subject to Wix’s capabilities and limitations.

Projects begin on the agreed Start Date and are expected to be completed by the agreed End Date, assuming the Client provides timely feedback and all necessary materials.

  • Basic plans: 1-week turnaround

  • Premium plans: 2-week turnaround​

Client agrees to pay:

  • Total Fee: $[insert total amount]

  • Deposit: $300 (non-refundable, due upon signing)

  • Balance: $[remaining balance] due upon final approval

Payment methods accepted: [PayPal, Venmo, Bank Transfer, etc.]

Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content (text, images, logos)

  • Grant access to domain/hosting (if applicable)

  • Respond to feedback requests in a timely manner

Failure to do so may delay project delivery.

  • The Client will own all website content and domain.

  • The website will be hosted on the Client’s Wix account (or transferred upon full payment).

  • ElevateSites reserves the right to include a small credit in the site footer unless otherwise agreed.

Includes up to 3 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed at $40 per hour.​

  • ElevateSites uses Wix under its Terms of Service and does not resell Wix or its platform.

  • ElevateSites is not responsible for outages, technical issues, or limitations caused by Wix, third-party apps, or domain registrars.

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of United States.

Either party may cancel the agreement with written notice. If canceled, the Client agrees to pay for all completed work up to the termination date.
